sewing-turned-side table

This sweet little sewing table got a makeover with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Provence, light distressing, and then hand waxed to a soft, subtle sheen.

Provence is a clear and energetic shade of turquoise excellent for a space that needs a shot of color!
Light distressing brings out the details. Piece has original hardware.
Table measures 31" high x 18" deep x 23" wide and is finished front, back and both sides.
The bottom door hides the original storage tray.
And the top opens to reveal the space where the machine was stored.

  1. Your sewing cabinet looks great, Analisa! My mom used to have a sewing machine in a cabinet like that. I just bought my first can of Annie Sloan in old white and I'm just about finished with my first little project with it. Provence is the next color I would like to try!

  2. Thank you! ASCP is such a pleasure to work with! My girls love it too... my oldest daughter did this table. We're constantly looking for another forlorn piece of furniture to transform with ASCP. I'd love to see what you do with the old white (it's the perfect shade of creamy white!).
